Expanded hours are set to start at Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market on Sunday as a part of a one-year pilot undertaking.
The market will likely be open between Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from 7 a.m. to five p.m. on Saturdays.
It’ll function between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sundays and will likely be closed on Mondays.
“The pilot undertaking is the results of a latest overview of the market’s hours of operation, which included public suggestions and an analysis of how operational enhancements can assist the market higher serve residents of Toronto and guests to the town,” a beforehand issued launch defined.
“The revised hours of operation will make the market extra accessible, with service hours that meet guests’ altering wants and preferences.”
In a tweet, Toronto Mayor John Tory stated he was “encouraging Torontonians to help our native farmers and companies in the present day.”
