A funeral will probably be held on Sunday, Aug. 7, for a younger B.C. man who died in New York Metropolis final weekend.
Parm Dhaliwal, 23, of Surrey died on Saturday, July 30. The reason for his demise isn’t identified. Authorities in New York are investigating.
Dhaliwal’s father confirmed his son’s demise to World Information, whereas the B.C. Hockey League tweeted out the information on Monday.
Dhaliwal performed three seasons with the West Kelowna Warriors, from 2016-17 to 2018-19.
His last season was his greatest, with the ahead placing up 15 objectives and 50 factors in 50 video games.
The funeral will probably be held in Delta. The Warriors say they’re engaged on a Dhaliwal tribute sport this coming season.
