Former Shore student dies after Thredbo skiing accident

A young person who died after crashing into bushes at Thredbo ski resort in southern NSW has been recognized as a former pupil at Shore faculty in North Sydney.

About 11am on Sunday, emergency providers have been referred to as to the ski fields after 18-year-old Oliver Johnston misplaced management on the slope, veered off the hill and hit bushes.

Police stated fellow skiers observed the accident and alerted the ski patrol.
