An inmate has died after being stabbed at Edmonton’s most safety jail and now the town’s murder detectives are investigating.

Edmonton Institution inmate Bretton Fisher, 33, died following the assault on Wednesday, the Correctional Service Canada introduced on Friday.

Police responded to the jail round 5:40 p.m. Wednesday to experiences of an injured man on the jail.

EPS stated officers arrived to seek out Fisher affected by life-threatening accidents. He was handled on scene by paramedics, however died.
